Last week's winner: #33, Lesli!
Congratulations! Please email me.
This week we're the lucky recipients of a hand-decorated notebook from Hannah. It's very beautiful!
Tell us a little bit about yourself.I'm a seventeen year old Christian freelance writer living in a small town in the south. I have nine younger siblings, two in Heaven and seven on Earth, and due to the fact that my youngest brother suffers from a terminal illness, I have learned that every day is a gift and should not be wasted. Life is very precious to me, and although there are very hard days, my faith in God helps me continue on in this journey...one step at a time.
What do you most enjoy creating?I mainly enjoy knitting, having done it for nearly 10 years. Recently I've started dabbling in other things, such as decorating notebooks [obviously!], and needlepoint. Other than creating crafty things, I enjoy creating stories. Writing helps me cope with the hardships in life. If
What inspires you?Very strange things...wild thunderstorms, vintage dresses, dancing in the rain, cracked asphalt, streetlamps glowing, babies laughter, the sound of my little brother's voice, music, my friends...and most importantly, God. When trying to seek out inspiration [which, since it never seeks me out, I usually have to go hunting for it], you will most likely find me sitting in my tree, fondly called "Zion" , with a notebook and MP3 player, or taking a walk at 10pm with my Bible. Or,when all else fails, I knit.
