Tell us a little bit about yourself. 

Hello! My name is Molly and I'm not a real pirate. But I was called Molly the Pirate by my college roommates and the name stuck around as a joke (no nefarious activities were involved in the creating of this nickname). Plus I like shiny bits of jewelry, the worn wood of a ship's deck and hats with feathers so it works for me! 

I live in the country with a dog and two kitties and I drive an old pickup truck I named George. I read tons of books, sip a lot of tea, and plant flowers everywhere while pretending to lead a life of vintage glamor.

What do you most enjoy creating? 

Earrings! My shop is mostly earrings because that's my favorite thing to make. I think because I'm so addicted to wearing them myself. I have no less than 4 boxes and bowls around my bedroom for them.

What inspires you?

My garden inspires a lot of what I make and so do the books I read. I'm usually reading in the garden so I guess that makes sense! I grew up in a gardening family so plants are a big part of my life and then I was an English major so literature is also a big part of who I am.
