Oh, homecoming.
From left to right: Me,
Em, Anne, Ayanah, Miranda, and Carly.
I wore vintage Betsey Johnson (thanks mother who kept all her 90s dresses!), Fioni heels, and a necklace my grandmother got in Peru.

Carly and Ayanah. Look, Ayanah, a photo! |
Let's hear it for stupid dancing, too-loud music, sleepless sleepovers, sharpie pens, bad pictures, Teen Vogue, messy hair, and scaring all the freshman boys. Seriously, I think I might have traumatized a few, being a big scary sophomore and all. Poor freshmen. Sorry, freshmen.
It was a good night.
well, how lovely are you girls? looks like you had a lot of fun! and i love doodling on myself in sharpie too. :P

ReplyDeleteLOVE, LOVE-LOVEEE the Betsy Johnson dress. All of you guys look great! Didn't get to go though, I was too busy. :/
ReplyDeleteGlad you got to terrorize some boys though, they need some sense knocked into 'em! >:D
Sounds like you had fun:) I Love your dress!! Our homecoming dance is casual , like we're supposed to wear jeans and a t-shirt
ReplyDeleteWorst thing about being homeschooled:no homecoming, prom, or friends. I can't even express to you how envious I am.
ReplyDeleteScare those guys, show them how amazing you are!
High five fellow freshman, when you go to prom, party for me!
Ellie;)

ReplyDeleteYour dress is magnificent, as is the rest of your ensemble. :)
ReplyDeleteAhh, love that dress you're wearing, as well as Emily's. She looks just like Ellie Goulding in the photo, teehee!
ReplyDeleteSounds like such fun! I'm homeschooled so no homecoming for me {I don't mind, though} but it seems amazing {especially scaring freshman boys :D }. Glad you had fun!
ReplyDeleteAnd you guys all look beautiful! Yea, some of them are a little short, but I still think they're pretty-and everyone looks pretty in them! :) <3!
`Brooke
I love your dress! Sure, some of them are a little short + low, but it's your blog and I won't argue with you. And drawing on yourself is so fun.
ReplyDeleteIs 90s vintage now?? I feel so old... You look great though!! The necklace seems really cool as well, it would be cool if you put up a more detailed shot~ :P

ReplyDeleteI'm not very familiar with all this school sutff as I'm homeschooled, and this probably sounds very stupid, but what is a 'homecoming'?

you look stunning, your hair is spectacular, and and that dress is the bomb. the end.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had fun!
ReplyDeleteOf course you wore vintage Betsey Johnson. I'm proud of you.
ReplyDeleteOh, homecoming.
love the dress. it's so simple- classic nineties- but i think that's the best part because it highlights everything else, you know? like your luscious, curly hair, for example.
ReplyDeletein short, you looked stunning :)

ReplyDeleteAre you doing NaNoWriMo this year?
Yeah, one of the downsides to being homeschooled???? No prom or dances. Oh, well.
ReplyDeleteBlack sharpies are THE BEST btw and so is too loud music. :D
