I don't know what to do it's not even the same bird
they just keep hitting the windows and needing to hide under my hair
I think that this is the male and last week was the female because his coloring is brighter and he has orange on his head but they are LITERALLY THE DUMBEST BIRDS
they build their nests on the ground
HOW DID YOU SURVIVE NATURAL SELECTION OVENBIRDS?
HOW?
haha, well, i don't believe there was a natural selection, but it's funny nonetheless.
ReplyDeleteWhatever is happening, you're getting some really pretty shots of them!

^Why did I know that someone was going to type that? Oh goodness, here we go again.
ReplyDeleteAnyway I LOVE you Olivia and you're a really talented photographer for being able to photograph birds so well! I can imagine they're very difficult subjects!
write what?

I knew some uber-Christian blogger was going to come here and comment over natural selection. There is so much evidence for it it's not even funny. Doesn't mean that God didn't create the world, but the evidence is so overwhelmingly pointing towards natural selection that the world as we know it today wasn't created in a week.
DeleteI wasn't starting any fights at all, so I'm not sure why this is such a big deal to you. (and I don't even know who you are because you won't come of anon, but that doesn't matter).
DeleteAnd even though I do have a reply to your comment, I'm not going to say it. I don't want to start any fights, I was just stating what I believe. I also don't want to start anything on a blog that isn't mine or yours, and when it doesn't have anything to do with it. You'll probably say something about how I don't have a comeback even when I do. So if you really are going to say that, you can email me and we can have our discussion. Because I'm ready any day.

Not the same anon- but I do agree with the previous anon, the "I don't believe in natural selection comment" was just unneeded. Kind of like if, say, a person has a post about their day, adding, "For lunch I had a glass of milk" and a vegan making a comment saying, "Personally, I believe drinking milk is wrong." It's just uneeded and unwanted.
DeleteNothing against you, however.
These birds are really quite handsome, yet do seem to be intellectually inept. Your blog is rather spectacular. I hope you will be so kind as to drop in on mine from time to time.

These birds are so pretty, it's a shame they bump in to your windows so frequently :(
ReplyDeleteAlso, I've nominated you for the versatile blogger award! you can check it out on my blog:

I can't help it, this reminds me so much of opening from "Twin Peaks"! Very pretty, but also a bit melancholic? Anyway, I really like these photos!
