It's about eight billion degrees out right now (read: 95ยบ but when you live in Maine that's nearly apocalyptic) and I have no energy or brain power to do anything but drink water and gaze dazedly at the computer screen, so here's a post about... yes... shoes.

I'd been looking for cheap oxfords for a while, but all the nice leather ones I found were way expensive and I am way a cheapskate.
Plus, I am definitely a high-heels girl. I'm not short (not very tall either, at 5'7") but I dislike flat shoes.
So when I found these babies at a thrift shop in Camden with Emily, I pretty much had a coronary.
Plus, they fit. They were a little small but since they're leather they stretched to fit my feet quite nicely.
If I died right now, these would be the only things I'd want to take with me.

Are they not amazing? They can be boho or glam or dressy or casual. Flipping out.
Oh yeah, and Taylor Swift wore them. And looked adorable. I found that out when I googled them to see how much they cost initially. ($50, not bad.) I'm not a country music person, but she is adorable and I love her fashion sense. Plus, you know, there was this. Kind of hard to hate her, she was so nice. She's on Teen Vogue's August cover, so my mom and I got all excited. Very cute editorial too.
