I had some pretty Converse sneaker-flats and was thrilled when the real One-Stars went on sale at Target.
So... of course I had to take pictures! :P
I learned that "Boyfriend" by the new band Best Coast (free on iTunes right now!) goes especially well with Converse...
This next one is going on Etsy!
And retro messages in bottles go great with Converse too...

ReplyDeleteLast year, I used some of my Christmas money to buy a pair of gray Converse, and I wear them with everything! I love wearing them with skirts :)
I really want a pair of pink or blue ones, even though they are so impractical :)
I don't officially "own" a pair, but I really do like them! However, I have problems with shoes that don't have the right inserts, or enough support. :( *tear* so I can't really wear them.

ReplyDeleteWell Amanda, I have the same problem, but you can get removable inserts, and I put them in my converse-- true they don't have much support... But I wear them anyways.
ReplyDeleteI had a pair of non-lace green converse, then a pair of brown ones (with purple laces :D) then a pair of purple ones (that I wore a hole through LOL) and now I have black ones. The amusing fact is that I have gone through 4 pairs of converse in 1 year. And I adore them!
Some of my friends have three or four pairs, but I only have one (two if you count the ones with holes in them... which I don't) which can prove problematic as I have Converse, two pairs of flip-flops, and fake Uggs... those are my shoes. Lol, and the only ones I can really wear to school are Converse :P

Ah! You're soooo lucky! I can't wear converse (terrible feet :( ) But I've ALWAYS wanted to! They're like the only shoes that girls in my grade wear. I'm jealous. :)

Laurea, I have terrible feet too, but I put orthodics in my shoes (they can be annoying, but you get used to them) and considering what they are made of have pretty good support.

I know!!! They are SO expensive!!! I am destined to have bad feet though! SO unfair! My mom, sister, and both my grandmothers have orthodics. I wear Converse anyways because I am really picky about shoes, and I don't like Tennis Shoes very much... I mean, some are cute, but as I don't own any... I got my orthodics in... 3rd grade possibly 2nd... maybe 4th? I dunno... They are sooo expensive... Aren't they $600? Maybe thats wrong, but they are WAY more expensive than my shoes!

ReplyDeleteI have a brown pair, and they used to hurt my feet, but I got some gel inserts, and now they fit great.

I love Converse with a passion =) and have a pair of high tops that I wear almost every day. They are so worn out now! For some reason I keep thinking about trying to find some red plaid ones, but I really have no idea where these thoughts are coming from.

ReplyDeleteI just got a pair of converse yesterday, and I'm loving them so much! The color I got was a light charcoal. Since the color is neutral, it goes great with anything I wear. :)
