LIFE // homecoming

Oh, homecoming.

From left to right: Me, Em, Anne, Ayanah, Miranda, and Carly.

I wore vintage Betsey Johnson (thanks mother who kept all her 90s dresses!), Fioni heels, and a necklace my grandmother got in Peru.

Carly and Ayanah. Look, Ayanah, a photo!
Let's hear it for stupid dancing, too-loud music, sleepless sleepovers, sharpie pens, bad pictures, Teen Vogue, messy hair, and scaring all the freshman boys. Seriously, I think I might have traumatized a few, being a big scary sophomore and all. Poor freshmen. Sorry, freshmen.

It was a good night.

  6. Worst thing about being homeschooled:no homecoming, prom, or friends. I can't even express to you how envious I am.
Scare those guys, show them how amazing you are!

High five fellow freshman, when you go to prom, party for me!

And you guys all look beautiful! Yea, some of them are a little short, but I still think they're pretty-and everyone looks pretty in them! :) <3!

I'm not very familiar with all this school sutff as I'm homeschooled, and this probably sounds very stupid, but what is a 'homecoming'?

  33. Of course you wore vintage Betsey Johnson. I'm proud of you.

    Oh, homecoming.

  34. love the dress. it's so simple- classic nineties- but i think that's the best part because it highlights everything else, you know? like your luscious, curly hair, for example.

in short, you looked stunning :)

    happy friday!

Are you doing NaNoWriMo this year?

  37. Yeah, one of the downsides to being homeschooled???? No prom or dances. Oh, well.

Black sharpies are THE BEST btw and so is too loud music. :D
