HELLO EARTHLINGS

GUESS WHO'S BACK IN BLACK

(it's me. the answer is me.)

In the time I've been gone, I cut all my hair off and dyed it red:

these photos รก la my girl Miranda

...have been working with film (I have a darkroom in my basement now whut whut)

...also got a new body for my ole Nikon D60 so I can take bloggable pictures again (one of the main reasons I'm restarting the blog)

...changed the name and url and stuff (obviously)

...am still with the same ginger (celebrated out 1-year anniversary this month whhoooop) even though he's at college

...made my room even more cluttered and confusing

...new baby chickens arrived today!

So yes! Here I go! I'm going to be posting more art and photo stuff than fashion, but if you like the fashion ones I'll snap a mirror photo once in a while.

So ask me questions! I need to rebuild my About and FAQ, so what do you want to know?
Cheers, lovelies!

(ps, I recommend subscribing by email because Blogger seems to have ditched followers... )

  1. OMIGOSH! You're finally back. I was rightttt! ;)

Although I think it's cool and everything, I like your hair how it used to be better. But everyone needs a change once in a while. :)

Cannot (seriously) wait for photo posts. I love your photos. SO PRETTY.
I did love your fashion posts a lot, so I'd totally love a mirror shot once in a while. :)

No fair, about the darkroom. My dad has a really nice film SLR camera, and I just loved using it before I got my DSLR.
(don't assume anything, though, I ADORE my camera) But I really want to get into using his, too, because, lets be real, film rocks.

Oh, and i totally like your room. If only I had my own room. sigh.

    Anyway, superduper happy you're back!

    FAQ questions:
    What grade are you in?
How did you learn all about graphic design?
What photo editing site do you use?
How do you find amazing places to photograph? (I mean, seriously.)
Why 'Dried Bouquet'? (though I absolutely LOVE that name)

Oh, and I know you might not be able to answer this, but how the heck did you get your sidebar to stay put? I've been trying to figure it out, but just can't for the life of me.

Sorry for the uber long comment. It's been so long I thought it was justified. (besides, who doesn't like long comments? Everyone apologizes for them, but everyone loves them...?)

ps- I just wanted to say that I just checked up on your blog after so long, and that this post didn't actually show up in my feed. :(
(I had the same problem when I restarted my blog recently)

  8. I'm so glad to see you on Blogger, girl! Your posts were (and I'm sure will be) very inspirational and eyeopening to me. They affected me in some amazing ways.

Love the hair! I cut mine from hip-length to pixie a couple months ago, so I get the need for change.

A couple questions...hmmm...How would you suggest going about learning to edit? I love and appreciate so much stuff I see online and don't know how to do any of it. I want to learn to make videos as well and eventually work with film. So...thoughts?

I am so extremely happy that you are back on Blogger.
I've actually been following you (quietly, at a time) since Peace, Love & Chocolate.
You did my blog design once, a long time ago. Much has changed since then :O
Welcome back. OH. One for the FAQ; have you been considering publishing your films in any way (such as YouTube)?
