(look at the pictures and envision a much skinnier face/limbs, long long pointed ears that stick out to the sides, and a longish thin nose)
Oh, and the bow isn't carved correctly yet, though it can shoot a good hundred and some-odd feet already! (I got an arrow stuck about 100ft into a tree... haha...)
This is a sketch (unfinished) I did a while ago, just so you can picture her more accurately.
A little background:
Exta (full name Exta Tigerdark) is the last remaining heir to the throne of the Xanthura, a race of elf-like people (but not elves; though I have those too). What remains species is currently enslaved by the "bad guys" known as the Ravenband. Exta was raised, unbeknownst of her heritage, by trolls. Yes, trolls. She is one of the rare fë who possess a resistance to silver (it is chilling even from a distance to most). When she was left with the trolls (by her spirit guardian, a tiger) she had stripe tattoos on her cheeks and a silver dagger. That's all I will say, I don't want to give away the plot :)

ReplyDeleteI don't usually wear that makeup (obviously)... I was trying to get the long-eyes effect. The costume was tricky... it basically centered around the green top (my mother's from Chile, actually). The pics aren't amazing, I'm afraid; self-timer is not my friend and my nearby buddies-slash-helpers were all absent.
Wow, Bekah, you're right. Olive Tree, you have the most beautiful eyes! And nose. And smile. Wow, I'm kinda jealous! =)
