ME!
Oh my goodness! I was type-type-typing away a few minutes ago and didn't even notice my word count had reached over 50,000! My 50,000th word was "reading". Hmm.
This is my first year with NaNoWriMo and I must say, I was pretty dubious about my chances. I never thought I was one of those speed-writers... but I did it, and even finished early!
May I pat myself on the back?
When I saw the word count I literally screamed. All that hard work... and finally, the goal is met! I made my mom take a picture... (Ignore my disheveled appearance. I did not style my hair or apply makeup after my shower today. Please also ignore my creepy expression. I wasn't ready for the camera.)
Of course this book is far from done. I estimate it being at least 65-70,000 words when complete. So I must go work on it some more, dear readers...
And to all of you who are still NaNo-ing, best of luck! You can do it!
PS: Today is my mom's birthday... let's give her a cheer for putting up with me so long.

Congrats! Ugh, that must feel so good. I'm not going to be a winner this year, unless I turn into a magical writer and write 45,000 words in just a few days. Ah well, I guess I'll just have to do it next year. :(
