Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I am a fifteen-year-old fantasy writer and reader who loves Irish tea, cats, and cloudy skies.  I’m a Christian who loves our awesome Creator and believes in the power of prayer.  I'm a tomboy who loves to ride horses and fence with my four younger brothers.  And I'm also a hopeless romantic who loves 18th century bonnet dramas.  The countryside is my home, and I hope to stay there for the rest of my life, whether I find a good plot of land in America, Ireland, England, or Wales.  ;)  Dreams are cheap!

What do you most enjoy creating?
Stories! I love weaving together different plot threads and developing my characters, adding bits of romance and humor to lighten things up.  It gives me an opportunity to fall into another world.
(But I also like cooking desserts.  Pies are my specialty, I've been told - especially chocolate cream and key lime.)

What inspires you?
Definitely other peoples' work and successes - whether they're photographers like Olive Tree, surfers like Bethany Hamilton, or generals like George Washington, they make me feel like I can do just what they did.  Usually, that's false.  But hey.  I also get inspiration from movie soundtracks, like Pirates of the Carribean and Narnia.

  12. My favorite fantasy book? Goodness that's a tough one. I think anything by Wayne Batson, Byran Davis, Donita Paul, Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, or Andrew Peterson. That leaves you with over 40 titles to choose from, any of them are brilliant.
