So the rain of last week was broken today when blue sky AT LAST made its entrance. I rushed out to try to get some tan in (I ended up getting a tan line from my shorts... lovely) and while I was lying prone on my deck my good friend Emily (who is having a fabulous giveaway right now!) texted asking if I wanted to do something.
She ended up staying the night, and though by the time she arrived it had clouded over, we still biked to a beach a few miles away.
We shot a little video of the beach/dock/general store/ice cream man... there's not many clips of Emily because she doesn't like being on camera, but that's okay. :)
Photos from yesterday:
cheesy grin :D |
ignore the watermark, Em took this one |
The highlight was that the kind ice cream man gave us a dollar off because he liked our cameras. We love you, ice cream man.
My outfit:
shorts: American Eagle (4s and too big? whaaa?) // shirt: plain tee destroyed by moi // hat and feather necklace: Forever 21 // bathing suit: Target (last year....)
And my fantastic circus belt, real brass and leather, $2 from Goodwill. I love Goodwill...
Check Em's blog later for more about today. It wasn't very exciting but she got some great photos!

ReplyDeleteOh, and I love your bathing suit! Where did you get it? :)

Btw, I was wondering what kind of camera you used to do your video? I know that you previously used a flipcamera, and I really, really like how you made it go out of focus, then into focus--so cool. Anyway, just wondering because I have a flip and would love to know how to do that! :]
ReplyDelete--Megan
Awesome!!! I love the pics. And I had to ask, what kind of video camera do you use? I have a sport video camera, but it isn't good with the focus-y thing. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteDo you know how fantastic this post and that video are? Let me tell if you don't ... REALLY fantastic! I think you belong in NYC ... which I visit often! I've told my blog friends all about you. Not so much 'all' about you ... just enough!
