LIFE // feels like a party to me

Happy belated Father's Day to my dear dad. I was in charge of wrapping and decoration and pie... and I'd just gotten some new Japanese washi tape from PrettyTape in the mail... so...

yeah, that's a drawing of a cat with diamonds shooting lasers for eyes.
love you, dad.

And on Friday we were visited for the night by my two cousins. And they're adorable.

So I made them cupcakes, because everybody loves cupcakes. They're from Amy Sedaris's cookbook and though I think she's hilarious, they tasted more like cornbread. Still okay though.

pea ess: I officially want to move to Byron Bay, Australia. Come on, guys; surfing, artsy photographer/videographer people, and the Spell sisters. What more do I need?

OH YES:
Here is my hair, straightened.
Eep. Haircut needed. (And yes that is as straight as it gets. My hair + straight are not friends.)

  2. Love you hair!! You shouldn't cut it... maybe shpe it a little, but I love that length, especially with your curly hair!

  3. Majorly long hair! I used to have curly hair too (it's down to my butt now, so its too heavy and pulls it out to barely waves. I am OK with this.) and I would straighten it randomly and be shocked at how much extra length it has.

  5. That's so nice Olivia! I'm in love with the card. By the way, I had a dream last night that I went over to your house and we finished that movie together, then we were chased by people from the Narnia movie...

  6. Loved the pictures. You should keep your hair long like that, maybe trim a little?

LOL Brooke. Once I had a dream I went to Olivia's house (though I only read her blog) and I picked up her camera and dropped it. It broke. What a nice dream, Kendra...

  7. Sounds like you had fun. Fathers day in Australia (where I live) is not until september. I understand your feeling of wanting to move to byron bay! I have been there before. It was awesome! Ice cream stores at every corner. ;)

  10. i love byron bay. we go there sometimes for holidays because we don't live very far away. we're going later this year because my brother is hang-gliding for his christmas present(...so it's a bit late...). it's beautiful; basically known as hippie town. i'd imagine you would love it. ;)

  11. Dude, what is with all these people dreaming about coming to my house? Should I be scared?
Most of my dreams consist of a recurring one where I'm running/hiding from/fighting sketchy men in black. Not a scary dream, more educational-feeling. In case I'm in the FBI or become a wanted criminal. Either-or.

  13. Oh, you should come to Australia! I love it here..not that I've been to the US. ;)

Your hair is a lot like mine. It just won't go straight. Grrr. Luckily I'm an Irish dancer, so curls are good.

  14. Yeah. I always have dreams bombs are falling and I have to run. Or that tornadoes come through and I break my back & all I worry about is going to the chiropractor.

  17. Yeah, my hair is like that too. Even when I straighten it, it still has a bit of a wave on the bottom...
But mine isn't quite that long yet, though I'm growing it out...
Your hair is SOOO pretty!! :)
